Sri Lankan batsmen made a history of Pakistan, which nobody has done before
The ODI match was finally played after 10 years at the National Stadium in Karachi, Pakistan. In which Sri Lankan batsmen made such a record against Pakistan, which had not been able to make any team batsmen before today.
After 10 years, the first ODI match of the series is being played in Karachi. In which Sri Lanka had a very poor start in response to the 306 runs scored by Pakistan and their five wickets fell for just 28 runs. This was followed by a 177-run partnership between Shehan Jayasuriya and Dasun Shanaka for the sixth wicket. In this way, it became the longest partnership by the batsmen of any team for the sixth wicket against Pakistan in the history of ODI cricket.
Jayasuriya was out for 96 while Dasun Shanaka was out for 68 as the partnership broke down. After which the score of Sri Lanka team was 207 runs in 42 overs till the time of writing the news. However, the win still looks tough for Sri Lanka.
At the same time, talking about Pakistan's batting, in the first innings, Pakistan's Virat Kohli called Babar Azam played a brilliant innings of 115 runs. Due to which Pakistan was able to score big.
