Team India Unveil New-look Jersey Ahead of South Africa Series
Brimming with confidence after the impressive tour of West Indies, Team India will be looking to hit the ground running against South Africa. The T20I series against South Africa, which will start on September 15 in Dharamsala, will also mark the start of India’s home season. The Virat Kohli-led side is in stunning form at the moment.
After exiting the World Cup at the semifinal stage, India hit the ground running in the Caribbeans. They never really gave West Indies breathing space and ended the entire tour without losing a single game. India beat the hosts 3-0 in T20Is, 2-0 in ODIs before blanking them in the two-Test series.
Thus, one can say that India will be the firm favourites for the series against the Proteas who have struggled to perform consistently in recent times. South Africa are yet to play a single game since their disastrous campaign in the World Cup. They will be the underdogs for the clash but will take confidence from their last tour of India when they won the T20Is and the ODIs.India. (Credits: Twitter)

Both the teams have enough firepower and one can expect a cracker of a clash in Dharamsala tonight. And ahead of the series-opener, Team India unveiled their new-look jersey. On the eve of the clash, skipper Virat Kohli, vice-captain Rohit Sharma and head coach Ravi Shastri launched the new-look jersey which has the name of the new sponsors, Byju’s.
Byju’s is a Bengaluru-based educational technology and online tutorial firm. In July this year, it replaced Chinese mobile manufacturer Oppo as the team’s sponsors.
“BYJU’S will be taking over all obligations of the current team sponsor OPPO mobiles India private limited. The BCCI is pleased to welcome India’s leading education and learning app BYJU’S as the official Team India sponsor from 5th September, 2019 until 31st March, 2022,” a BCCI statement had said in July.
I was happy that an Indian company BYJU'S are sponsoring India.
But the jersey looks way bad.
At least remove the logo and mention just BYJU'S.
It may look okay then.
India should come up with new designs.
Bored of these.

Prior to the launch of the new-look jersey, India players were also seen wearing practice jerseys with the logo of the new sponsor.
