Now the legendary batsman Rohit Sharma of the Indian team has expressed his views on the issue. In a tweet, Rohit Sharma has opposed the cutting of trees in the name of development in Aarey Colony, Mumbai. He wrote on his Twitter handle, "Even if there is more to the story, nothing is worth cutting down something so vital. Part of Mumbai being slightly greener & slight difference in the temperature is mainly because of #AareyColony. How can we take that away, not to mention thousands of animals will displace."
