The Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored his seventh double century while playing in the second Test match at Pune against South Africa. The right-hander batted at the top of his game to bring up his double century. Kohli completed his 26th century earlier in the day and then went on to make a daddy hundred.  Thus, Kohli overtook Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag’s tally of double centuries as both of them had scored six double tons.
