Ishan Kishan has been in the news in recent times after Rishabh Pant has failed to live up to the expectations with the bat. The Jharkhand cricketer is knocking the doors and will be keen to push his claims more with good outings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

The wicket-keeper batsman has been in good form for India A and will hope to keep up his good run in the domestic 50-overs competition. Kishan, who can bat anywhere in the order, will be a huge benefit to the Jharkhand side, who will be playing without MS Dhoni.

The young cricketer will have to shoulder responsibilities if they have to progress further in the competition.
