Virat Kohli looks to pip Sachin Tendulkar, eyes twin records in South Africa Test series at home
Virat Kohli-led Team India are set to host their first series in the longest format of the game at home after entering the new cycle following a bitter-sweet World Cup campaign earlier in the summer. The three-match series is India's first assignment at home and also their second as far as their campaign in the inaugural ICC World Test Championship is concerned. Kohli, who reached new heights after leading India in the Caribbean last month will hope his side kickstarts their home phase of the Test Championship in similar ruthless and relentless fashion.

India white-washed the Windies in their own backyard in the two-match Test series courtesy Ajinkya Rahane and Hanuma Vihari - the two pillars of the Indian batting lineup who registered splendid performances throughout the series. Though Kohli also chipped in with crucial knocks, the Indian captain failed to convert his starts into triple-digit figures.
