Virat Kohli may be rested for the Bangladesh T20 series, know who will be the captain
Indian captain Virat Kohli can take rest from cricket once again after continuous action on the field. After the ongoing Test series against South Africa, Team India has to play T20 series against Bangladesh at home which starts in November. Meanwhile, media reports suggest that Virat Kohli can rest in the upcoming series.
The 30-year-old has playing non stop cricket since February which includes- IPL season, Cricket World Cup, West Indies series and now the ongoing South Africa series. He last took rest in the limited overs series against New Zealand in February.
With Virat taking rest, Rohit Sharma is expected to take the reigns of the team. The Mumbai Indians skipper had a successful outing as a T20 captain which includes Nidahas trophy triumph in 2018.
The team will be announced for the series against Bangladesh on October 24, when Ganguly will also take over the responsibility of the post of BCCI President.
