Virat Kohli Produces A Masterclass Hundred To Celebrate His 50th Test As Skipper, The Man Is Simply A Run Machine
Virat Kohli picked up where Mayank Agarwal left off and produced a magnificent century on Day 2 of the 2nd Test vs South Africa in Pune.
It was the ideal way to celebrate his 50th Test in charge as he has now led India in the most red-ball matches. This is his 26th century in 81 Tests. Not a bad effort at all.
Kohli was a little slow to get going on Day 1 but he soon settled into his zone and reached his fifty in the final session. Day 2 saw him with more of an aggressive intent and he reached his hundred in the first session itself after being not out on 63 overnight.
The hundred came in 173 balls with 16 fours. He is just piling up the runs and that is added proof why he is the best batsman across formats in the world today.
