Virat Kohli writes a note to ‘Chiku’: Never take what you have for granted
Indian skipper Virat Kohli turned 31 on Tuesday and is presently holidaying with wife Anushka in Bhutan. But the Indian captain has written a special note addressed to the 15-year old version of himself, fondly called ‘Chiku’ by family members and close friends.
“Life has big things in store for you Virat. But you need to be ready for each and every opportunity that comes your way. Grab it when it comes. and never take what you have for granted, ” wrote Virat Kohli to his younger self.
He also added that everyone does fail and one should just promise oneself that he or she will never forget to rise and if at first, you don’t, try again.

The letter also features the lead character from the upcoming cartoon series Super ‘V’, which is about a 15-year-old cricketing prodigy who discovers his superpowers, fights the biggest super villains and saves the world. The lead character is modelled to resemble Kohli.
