Guyana Amazon Warriors reached in the final of the Caribbean Premier League 2019 on Sunday evening at Providence Stadium in Guyana. Now, they will play in the final against winner of 2nd Qualifier, played between TKR vs BT.
Playing first, GAW set a huge target of 218 for 3 in 20 overs. Brando King played stunning inning and amassed sparkling century. He made 132 off just 72 balls lashed with 10 boundaries and 11 sixes while as Shoaib Malik made 32 runs and Hemraj 27 runs.
In reply, Barbados Tridents could reach 188/8 in 30 overs and lost match by 21 runs. Alex Hales made 36 runs lashes with 3 sixes and 2 fours while as Jonathan Carter made 49 off 26 balls lashed with 5 fours and 3 sixes. Captain Jason Holder made 29 runs lashed with 3 sixes.
Brandon King honored with Player of the match award for his stunning 132 runs' knock. Since Barbados Tridents was reached in first qualifier, therefore they will get another opportunity to reach in the final. They will fight for final versus Trinbago Knight Riders in second qualifier.
