WATCH: Afif Hossain grabs a stunner to dismiss debutant Shivam Dube in 1st T20I
Bangladesh cricket team registered its maiden T20I win against Rohit Sharma-led India during the 1st T20I between the two teams played at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium. While the Men in Blue entered the match as the hot favourites, the Bangla Tigers roared in style and won the game by 7 wickets. The spectators witnessed several good moments from the match, one of which was the dismissal of debutant Shivam Dube.
India are playing the three-match series without several of their key players, including captain Virat Kohli, who has been rested for the shortest format. Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah are two other key players who are currently nursing injuries.
It wasn’t an ideal day for India at the field as apart from a poor show with the bat and ball, the hosts once again failed to make the best use of the DRS. Recalling what went wrong, Rohit said, "It was a defendable score, and we made mistakes on the field. The guys are a bit inexperienced, and they can learn from that, perhaps not make them the next time. The reviews (DRS) were a mistake from our side.”
