Watch: Rohit Sharma Hits A Hat-trick Of Sixes Off Mosaddek Hossain
Cyclone Maha was the major talking point before the just-concluded second T20I between India and Bangladesh. But fortunately, the cyclone stayed away from the city and the game did not face any interruptions. However, no one could save Bangladesh from the storm called Rohit Sharma. The India skipper was at his devastating best as he blew away Bangladesh.
Rohit Sharma was firing on all cylinders, slamming 85 from just 43 balls. The Indian skipper belted six fours and six sixes to kill the chase inside 10 overs. Chasing a modest 154 on a good batting track, Rohit Sharma came out all guns blazing. In the third over, he hit two fours and a six off Mustafizur Rahman to get going. By the time the powerplay ended, India had raced away to 63 for no loss with Rohit scoring 46 off them from just 21 balls.

Rohit soon completed his fifty with a six from just 23 balls. He continued his batting in the same manner while his partner Shikhar Dhawan looked more than happy to play as a second fiddle. The two added 118 runs for the first wicket before departing in quick succession. While Dhawan departed for 31, Rohit departed for 85. India eventually chased down the total in the 16th over to draw level in the series.
The highlight of Rohit’s innings came in the tenth over when he hit Mosaddek Hossain for three consecutive sixes. With nothing working out, Mahmudullah handed the ball to Mosaddek. But Rohit soon made him regret that decision. The first three balls of the over were dispatched for three huge sixes by Rohit. He tried to hit the fourth ball out of the park too but missed. Mosaddek eventually finished his over by conceding 21 runs.
