We Are Willing To Play India Anywhere – PCB CEO Wasim Khan
The game of cricket between the arch-rivals India and Pakistan has always been a special page in history. However, the political tensions in the countries of either side never allowed it to happen. Meanwhile, Pakistan officials tried a lot to lock horns with India but the Indian government isn’t in favour of that. Speaking of the same, PCB CEO Wasim Khan quoted that Pakistan is ready to play anywhere.
Time and Time again, the Indian board has made it clear that political tension between the two countries need to stop before bilateral ties resume with Pakistan. They were very clear that the restart of the bilateral series is purely in the hands of the Indian government and the BCCI has got nothing in their hands.

Further, he went on to add saying that cricket shouldn’t be affected by political tensions, as he believes that sports are the only way to connect both the countries. Wasim Khan quoted that he will be happy to explore new ways to revive cricket between both countries.
“They share the same desire as us to see cricket played again. But they’re dependent on government. We wish to see Pakistan vs India cricket happening again. We are willing to play with India anywhere as it is important that India and Pakistan play cricket. Cricket is a great way of bringing people together and cricket should remain cricket. We will play with India. I will be happy to explore the possibilities of playing them,” he said as quoted by Geo TV.
We are not paying anything to Sri Lanka – Wasim Khan
Meanwhile, he also revealed that Sri Lanka has accepted to tour Pakistan without any demand for money. He added that Pakistan is going to play all their home matches in their own country, as it is taking a toll on them to play in UAE, which used to be their adopted home venue for a while now.Sri Lanka. “We are not paying Sri Lanka even a penny. They are coming to Pakistan without being paid anything.” Wasim Khan said.
Well, the upcoming series review between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will have a big say in the future of Pakistan hosting the International games in their home soil. Wasim Khan hopes everything goes as per the plan.
