We Will Try To Play At Least One Day/Night Test Every Year – Sourav Ganguly
The most-anticipating Pink Ball Test has finally made its way to India with Sourav Ganguly taking the initiative as the BCCI President. Both the Bangladesh Cricket Board and the Indian National Cricket Team has accepted to the request made by Ganguly in order to help Test Cricket survive. Meanwhile, the BCCI President promises to arrange at least one Pink ball match in a year for India.
The announcement of the first-ever day-night Test in India comes after BCCI’s continued resistance to the newest experiment in world cricket. The cricket body had argued that India had not played enough first-class cricket under the lights and it would risk losing World Test Championship points.

Speaking of the same, Sourav Ganguly quoted that the board will make sure to have at least one Pink ball Test match in a year for the fans. And also, Sourav Ganguly revealed that it had taken three seconds to get Kohli to agree to the Eden Test against Bangladesh being under lights. It was Bangladesh board, who took time to give their decision but he is happy that they came up with positive news.
“We will try and play one every year in India. That is for sure. When India goes on tour, we will talk to the board of the country we are visiting and see if we can feature in one,” Sourav Ganguly said in an exclusive interview to Hindustan Times.
