West Indies Won ODI Series After 2014 - Beat Afghanistan in 2nd ODI, Pooran Shined Out

West Indies won their 1st ODI series after five years long duration (2014). They beat Afghanistan in second ODI by 47 runs and took invincible lead in the 3 match’s series. Now it will be interesting to see whether they can beat Afghanistan in final ODI and clean sweep them.
Hero of the match remained Nicholas Pooran who smashed stupendous semi 100 and helped west Indies to post around 250 run’s score. He made 67 runs with help of 7 fours & 3 sixes. Apart from Pooran, Evin Lewis, Shai Hope and and Shimron Hetmyer played well and added decent score.
Evin Lewis amassed 54 runs studded 6 fours & a six while as Shai Hope and Shimron Hetmyer added 43 and 34 runs. West Indies posted reasonable 247/9 in 50 overs.
In reply, Afghanistan showed fighting spirit and took the score to 200 runs. Their inning finished in 45.4 overs. Najibullah Zadran and Mohammad Nabi (32) showed some resistance and at a point of time, it seemed that they can hit the target but Samuel Cottrell broke this pair.
He dismissed Zadran at 56 runs; thereafter Afghanistan lost 4 wickets at 23 runs and lost match by 47 runs. Now, West Indies has taken inaccessible lead in this series and the way they are performing in this series, clean sweep is possible.
