भारत और दक्षिण अफ्रीका के बीच टेस्ट सीरीज का अंतिम मैच रांची में खेला जा रहा है। भारत ने टॉस जीतकर पहले बल्लेबाजी करने का फैसला किया। बारिश की वजह से पहले दिन 58 ओवर का ही खेल हो पाया और भारत ने तीन विकेट पर 224 रन बनाये थे। रोहित शर्मा 117 और अजिंक्य रहाणे 83 रन बनाकर खेल रहे थे।

रोहित ने जड़ा दोहरा शतक

रोहित शर्मा ने टेस्ट क्रिकेट में अपना पहला दोहरा शतक जड़ दिया है। गेंदों में 28 चौके और 5 छक्कों की मदद से दोहरा शतक पूरा किया। इंटरनेशनल क्रिकेट में यह उनका चौथा दोहरा शतक है। वनडे में रोहित ने तीन बार 200 का स्कोर पार किया है।

दूसरे दिन लंच के समय वह 199 के निजी स्कोर पर नाबाद थे और लंच के ठीक बाद अपना दोहरा शतक पूरा कर लिया। दोहरा शतक बनाने के बाद उन्होंने तेजी से रन बनाने की कोशिश की और 212 रन बनाकर बाउंड्री लाइन पर कैच आउट हो गये। कगिसो रबाडा ने उनका विकेट चटकाया ।
