नवी दिल्ली : भारताचा माजी कर्णधार महेंद्रसिंह धोनीबद्दल निवड समितीचे अध्यक्ष एमएसके प्रसाद यांनी मोठे सूचक विधान केले. त्यांच्या या विधानानंतर मात्र धोनीच्या चाहत्यांनी सोशल मीडियावर लगेच प्रतिक्रिया द्यायला सुरवात केली. काहींनी पुन्हा धोनी दिसणार नाही महणून नाराजी व्यक्त केली तर काहींनी प्रसाद यांनाच हाकलून लावा असा सल्ला बीसीसीआयचे अध्यक्ष गांगुलींना दिला आहे. 

विश्वकरंडकानंतर ब्रेक घेतलेल्या धोनी विंडिज आणि दक्षिण आफ्रिका दौऱ्यातून माघार घेतली होती. त्यानंतर बांगलादेश दौऱ्याबाबत मात्र त्याच्याकडून माघार घेतल्याचं जाहीर करण्यात आलं नाही. तरीही त्याला संघात स्थान देण्यात नाही. त्याच्याबद्दल बोलताना निवड समितीने सूचक विधान केले आहे. 

धोनीला संघातून बाहेर काढले का? या प्रश्नावर एमएसके प्रसाद यांनी स्पष्ट उत्तर दिले नाही. मात्र, ते म्हणाले, '' विश्वकरंडकानंतर आम्ही स्पष्ट केलं होतं की आम्ही आता धोनीच्या पलिकडे विचार करत आहे. ट्वेंटी20 विश्वकरंकासाठी आम्ही नवी नखेळाडूंना संधी देत आहोत जेणेकरुन ते स्वत:ला सिद्ध करु शकतील. म्हणूनच सध्या पंत आणि संजू सॅमसनला संघात स्थान मिळाले आहे.''

प्रसाद म्हणाले की, युवा खेळाडूंना संधी देण्याच्या निवड समितीच्या मताशी धोनीदेखील सहमत आहे. आमची धोनीशी चर्चा झाली असून त्यानंही निवड समितीचा हा निर्णय योग्य असल्याचं सांगितलं आहे.
